On Thursday 2 April, our school came together for a fantastic whole‑school charity day, and it was a huge success from start to finish.

The day began with the generous donation of Easter eggs, with students and staff bringing in gifts for a very deserving cause. In total, over 120 Easter eggs were collected and donated to outpatients at Fairfield Hospital, helping to brighten the days of many people in our local community. We would like to say a sincere thank you to Jessica and the North Care Charity for their support in helping make this donation possible.

Alongside the Easter egg collection, each form took part in fundraising activities to raise money for Cancer Research UK. The school hall was full of excitement and energy as students ran a variety of stalls, including cake salessplat the rat, soak the teacher, guess the name of the bunnysweet stalls, and a range of dart challenges. The creativity, teamwork and enthusiasm on display was impressive!

Thanks to everyone’s hard work and generosity, the school managed to raise over £700 for Cancer Research – an outstanding achievement and something we can all be very proud of.

A huge well done to all students and staff who contributed, donated, and helped run events throughout the day. Charity Day was a wonderful example of our school community working together to support important causes and make a positive difference.
